Our environment is integral to our health and well-being. Not only
our external environment – geography, climate, geology, demography
– but also the environment that we create around us in the places
that we live, work and play.

|
Our thoughts and actions influence and create the fabric of our
physical reality. Most of us have experienced visiting what we perceive
to be a ‘happy house’, occupied by those with a positive attitude,
sense of fulfilment or joy of life. Conversely we avoid visiting
‘unhappy homes’ where anger and frustration prevail, or where distressful
or tragic events have occurred.
These energies – positive or negative – can become imbued as
a ‘memory’ into the very fabric of a building, a location, or in
individual personal effects. Occasionally these, and other, energies
can become ‘stuck’ and even active, affecting the lives of the occupants
on many levels – of some they are aware and others they are not.
This can manifest in many ways: often being cold, tired or drained
of energy; feelings of apprehension or dread; disrupted sleep; loss
of weight; inappropriate muscular behaviour; and, in extreme cases,
doing things out of character as if an outside influence were affecting
us. This might result in conditions such as obsessive compulsive
disorder.
Elizabeth works to support doctors and practitioners to identify
and remove factors that might, in our everyday perception of the
world, seem inexplicable.
What is clear is that this invariably leads to the full recovery
of those involved.
